Dear Scottie Press,
I remember around 1946 a group of children getting a photograph taken outside the 'Glassey Wall' at the back of Home James and a shoe a shoe repair shop which I think was Appletons on Scotland Road. We were kids from Woodstock Gardens (Lackeys, Dooleys, Davies, Corrigans, Dawsons, Scotlands). I would think there would have been about 20 or 25 of us. I wonder if any of your readers remember this and if anyone has a photograph.

Yours
WILLIAM DAVIES
