The Uncertainty of Birth
was one of those short-listed.

The 'Uncertainty of Birth' which we feature was shown on the BBC Big Screen, Clayton Square, Liverpool city centre on September 15th, 16th and 17th 2006 (the opening weekend of festival). The film will also be shown as part of a rolling programme on the big screen throughout the ten weeks of the Biennial 16 Sept - 26 November 2006. The film was self financed and the actors gave their services for free. It was produced in June/July 2006. Tony Mallon was scriptwriter, cameraman, editor and director for this film. It was co-produced by Richie Grice (one of the actors) and Tony Mallon. The film mainly deals with the regeneration happening to Liverpool and its obvious bias to the city centre. The characters discuss what the changes mean to them. If you need any other information please do not hesitate to ask.
